BIO

A fresh addition to the Canadian and international jazz scene, the Greenhouse Ensemble presents seven emerging musicians from the province of Québec. With its unique instrumentation — its melodic section combines a voice, a violin and a trumpet — the collective brings stunning orchestral and folk colours to its modern jazz compositions.

The group’s collaborative nature invites every member to share their influences and help create the ensemble’s captivating sound. Formed in 2019, the Greenhouse Ensemble is releasing its debut album, “Rez-de-chaussée” (meaning “ground floor”), on March 3, 2023.
